BIG RED - Adopted

MALE      5 1/2 YEARS    TYNE & WEAR

Hi
I am a loving large male I am very good with children of all sizes and other dogs as long as they aren't too bossy. I have enjoyed working with my previous owner for the past four years I have been a good team dog  two dog scooter dog (won a few races) and have even competed in the weight pull classes. Having said that I would be just as happy with long walks or a bike  ride/jog/canicross.
I get a tad noisy when I get excited (food time and going out - well who wouldn't) but other wise I like mooching, watching t.v  and allowing you to share your bed with me. xx

MALE        6 YEARS        TYNE & WEAR

Yo ho ho and a bottle of pop! Actually I haven't been in the Navy for many years as I was re homed ages ago but my owner is poorly now and I have had to weigh anchor and move to foreign shores again, Loving mind I live in doors here kip on the bed sit on the sofa's - I'm developing standards!
I am a loving friendly chap do a bit of working but would enjoy walks or a bit of jogging or biking  just as much, cuddles definitely, I'm good with small people and other dogs. If you are wondering what is odd about me I have round eyes level eyes like you instead of almond oblique eyes like most huskies. I am a nice size boy too so fit in a semi nicely but I am prone to weight gain so I have to watch my figure.

MALE    5 YEARS OLD    GWENT

Hello Geordie here I'm one of the famous 14 who were neglected and starved - yes I know I don't looked it but I was, I have also been mistreated as Im very very frightened of raised voices and sudden hand movements.
My FM says Im awesome I just moved in and started to play with her children and dogs straight away I enjoy people (I don't hold grudges)
and have had a go at this working in harness lark it is great fun but don't worry if you can't do that I would have just as mush fun going for walks. I like cuddles too.

Apart from walking over low fencing and visiting the local farm. Im a really nice girl I like fuss and cuddles and walks in the forest and other dogs and as long as the garden is secure and their arent any lambs who have lost their way I will be a great husky to have.

FEMALE 8YRS CHESHIRE

No it's not de ja vu I'm back again -Sadly things didn't quite work out for me  at my new home I tried but I just didn't like one of the older huskies and I'm ashamed to say I bullied her all the time so Auntie said it wasn't fair on her and I had to come back my new mum agreed even though she was very very sad and cried lots. I dont mind I'm back with FM and all my pals that's the good bit about being a husky we don't do sad good byes we always look forward never back.
So here I am ready and waiting for my new forever home I did get on well with the other old husky so perhaps I would be better with just one friend or none either will be cool and if the latter then I want my human about most of the time please.
Any way I am really nice and Im pretty and I love people and fuss and Im a good girl.

Oh wow I'm off to be a proper Sled dog and best buddy to another welfare dog that used to stay with FM Wish me luck xx

Hi there, well FM is my 3rd home so far - My first home just didn't want me and were going to put me down so my  lovely second Mum rescued me and all was cool for a little while then  I'm afraid I was a little naughty and I had to leave before the villagers hung me for chicken rustling!! Mum was very sad but she said it was for my own safety (and the few remaining villagepoultry)
I'm very
friendly (unless you are a chicken) and get on ok with other dogs (lots here to play with) I like small people around 8 years old is what Im used to and big people. I've had a go at running in harness that was fun, I definately require good regular exercise so an active or small working home, ideal oh and a secure garden xxx

I was left starving, dirty and freezing with no water, along with my pack, not all of us made it. But I'm okay now a lovely lady took care of us until Auntie and the team could have us. This is what my special mum says about me.

Soleil is good on the lead and she doesn't seem bothered by anything.

She's good with food, She takes treats gently.

I don't have many children visiting but I do have a husky mad six year old that comes to visit and she's fine with him.

Soleil loves to talk to you, she can be quite amusing particularly when you talk back to her. Soleil loves cuddles.

She still paces in the run but nothing like she did when she first came her. She does settle down.

She would prefer to be a house dog and have all the home comforts. She is well behaved indoors

She gets on well with the rest of the pack of sibe's and malamutes

She will make a wonderful pet!

She has put on some weight, her new home would have to continue with her weight gain and health plan.

She's a pleasure to look after, and is needs her forever home I will be happy to help the new home manage her weight gain.

xxxx

JONI - Adopted

FEMALE        6 MONTHS OLD        GWENT

Hello Auntie has called me Joni (Mitchell) as I'm living with Santana & we also have a Woodstock in Welfare - Auntie is reliving the Sixties this month! Anyway  I'm sure you've noticed but are too polite to mention that my left ear is a little lacking in height? Well what happened was..........My owner had to go to hospital so I went to stay with my doggy friends up the road only when I got there they weren't very nice to me after all, and one of them bit my ear off!!!, It really hurt but I was very brave, poor Mummy couldn't afford the vet but she looked after my poorly ear very well, she was very upset, she also forgot she was moving and couldn't take me with her (her head was a bit muddly) So she called Auntie who was very worried about my ear, so she called my Foster Mummy (FM) who jumped into her car straight away a brought me here. I like it here but it would be well cool to have my own family.
Although I have working potential I could be happy in an active family too.

THIS IS WHAT JONI'S FOSTER MUM SAYS ABOUT HER

"A lovely little girl and I do mean girl as she is a propper little girly girl so much so that I just couldn't resist giving her a nice pink collar and lead. She loves to run around with the rest of the pack playing and when they are all wanting to sleep she still wants to play :-)
Although she is a normal outgoing puppy she does have a timid and very loving side to her. She has  lead dog potential and loves going for walks and pulls well like all good working sled dogs. She has also been to many Game FayerS and Steam Rallies with us and just loves all the attention she gets from the public.
She will make a lovely working dog with great social skills and will just drop into any pack. She love attention from all humans big and small so would benifit from a family setting for her forever home".
